Our well is approximately 500 feet deep. We bring the well water into a well house that is insulated like the house and built of the same stone. There is a pressure tank to maintain the pressure. After the pressure tank, the water supply is split. One leg is untreated and goes to the outside faucets. The other leg goes through a GE 30 micron water filter. The water is then treated by a water softener. After the water softener, the water goes to a 5 micron filter, the a UV sterilizer. The water is then piped into the house.
